Official sources said that the police also foiled their attempt to flee to Saudi Arabia after their suspected involvement in militancy activities came to the fore. It has been learnt that their names surfaced during investigation of a case registered after an encounter that broke out in Nar forests of Bhata Dhurian village of Mendhar. Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the trio was reportedly trying to move to Saudi Arabia after boarding a flight from Kathmandu but were detained before they could have boarded the flight.
